Narcissists Won't Do This

Narcissists, however, may show a nice gesture from time to time, to trick their victim. It allows the victim to feel as though the Narcissist is changing, positively. The reality of it is, is that manipulation tends to be behind the scenes of a nice gesture. It often results in words exchanged from the Narcissist that say "I didn't have to but (fill in accusation)" as well as how much money they 'wasted.' The victim then feels undeserving of any gifts but feels forced to appreciate it.

Bottom line is:

Always be kind to yourself and to others. That's the greatest gift that one could ever receive and give. You are worth it. You are not a waste. You deserve a love that is true and pure.
